Phone Calls and Voice Control

Yes, but voice command control is only supported on LINK-1.

The LINK-1 includes voice command control. LINK-1C does not offer EXOCOM voice commands.

EXOCOM’s voice commands can be used under a variety of conditions, including Phone Call Mode, Call Receiving Mode, Intercom Mode, Music Mode, and Standby Mode.

As there are specific conditions for each command, it is recommended that you use the command that is appropriate for your current situation.

For example, the “Answer” and “Ignore” commands can be used specifically when you are receiving a phone call. For Link-1 or upper line-up models only.

This feature automatically turns on the intercom audio when you speak loudly into the microphone, for example, by saying ‘AH~’.

To use the feature, first select ‘Settings’ from the EXOCOM app drop down menu, and then enable ‘VOX intercom’ (for LINK-1 and upper line-up models).

By speaking a loud ‘AH~’ into the microphone, you can answer an incoming call.

To use this feature, you must first select “Settings” from the app’s dropdown menu, and then turn on “VOX Phone” (for LINK-1 and upper line-up models).

LINK-1 voice commands can be used for supported functions such as music controls and volume commands. Phone voice assistant features may also be accessed through Apple Siri or Google Assistant when enabled on the connected phone.

Yes. The Quick Access button can be set for voice assistant, last number redial, or speed dial through the EXOCOM app. Apple Siri or Google Assistant must be activated on the connected phone first.

LINK-1 voice commands are built into the unit for supported functions.
App settings may still be needed for certain preferences and quick access functions.

1. In the app dropdown menu, select Speed Dial and pre-save a list of your frequently contacted numbers.

2. First, select Settings from the app dropdown menu, then choose the Quick Access menu.

3. Select the Speed Dial function you would like to use.

4. Press and hold the Quick Access Button for 1 second to call the Speed Dial number.

No. LINK-1C does not include EXOCOM voice command control.

Yes. Both LINK-1 and LINK-1C include noise cancellation technology.

Position the microphone close to the mouth and keep it clear of obstructions.

If wind noise is excessive, move the microphone to a location with less direct airflow.

If the MIC is too close to your mouth, audio quality can be degraded because of MIC noise.

We recommend locating the MIC slightly left side from the center of your mouth position.

Mic Sensitivity controls how much sound the microphone picks up once the mic is active. It affects overall voice pickup, call clarity, intercom volume, and how much background noise may be captured.

Higher mic sensitivity can make the voice easier to pick up but may also pick up more wind, engine, or road noise.
Lower mic sensitivity can reduce background noise, but voice may sound quieter if set too low.

VOX Sensitivity controls how easily voice activation triggers a hands-free function.

Use higher VOX Sensitivity when voice activation does not respond easily.
Use lower VOX Sensitivity when wind, traffic, or helmet noise activates the system.

1. Make sure the device and your phone are paired.

2. Try increasing the volume on the device or your phone.

3. End the call and try calling again.

4. Check if the Audio Base Kit and the device are properly connected.

1. Connect the phone to the device.

2. Press the Quick Access Button for one second to activate Siri or Google Assistant.
